      Selecting Which Products to Sync

      How to sync selective products from Squarespace, Shopify or WooCommerce to ArchiPro.

      How to sync selective products from Squarespace to ArchiPro using tags

      By default, all published products in Squarespace will sync to ArchiPro. If you would like to sync some products and not others, you can do so using tags.

      Once products have synced with ArchiPro, our content loading team must still go through each product and check information pulled through is accurate and complete missing fields. 

      As part of your initial content load to build your profile or ecommerce enablement (and annually on renewal), we include up to 200 products or 600 variants to be approved by our team via API sync. Please refer to our content loading rate card if you would like additional products made live on your profile and talk to your Client Director. 

      Creating tags in Squarespace

      Tags in Squarespace allow you to group products together without creating a hierarchy. To create/edit product tags in Squarespace, follow these steps:

      1. Go to Squarespace and open the Pages panel
      2. Click the store page with the item(s) you want to tag
      3. Click Imported products
      4. Click All
      5. Click the checkbox next to the products you want to tag
      6. Click the three-dot menu next to any product, then click Edit
      7. Scroll to the Organization section
      8. Click on the Tags field
      9. Enter a tag. To add multiple tags, separate each with a comma. To add a tag you've added previously, begin typing the category or tag to select it from the list.
      10. Press Enter
      11. Click Save

      Using tags for the ArchiPro integration

      Once you have created tags in Squarespace, you can use these to sync selective products across to ArchiPro. 

      1. Go to your Squarespace Integration in ArchiPro
      2. Select Sync settings
      3. Click the Sync by tag dropdown
      4. Enter the Tag from Squarespace you wish to sync
      5. Click Begin syncing
      6. All products with that tag will sync across to ArchiPro

      When you connect to the ArchiPro Product Sync app on Shopify, a collection called 'ArchiPro' will be created automatically. This collection will not be visible on your website or any sale channel. It is only visible within your Shopify admin.

      Add single products to the ArchiPro collection

      1. Go to your Shopify admin
      2. Click Products on the left menu
      3. Click Collections
      4. Click on the ArchiPro collection
      5. In the Products section, search for products or click Browse
      6. Select the products that you want to have in the collection
      7. Click Done once you’ve made your selection(s)

      Add all products to the ArchiPro collection

      1. Go to your Shopify admin
      2. Click Products on the left menu
      3. Click the Checkbox at the top of the product table
      4. Click Select all products in this store
      5. Click the Three-dot Icon in the bottom middle menu (next to the Set as draft button)
      6. Click Add to collection(s)
      7. Click ArchiPro
      8. Click Save

      When you add a product to the ArchiPro collection, the product will automatically sync across to ArchiPro. 

      Remove products from the ArchiPro collection

      1. Go to your Shopify admin
      2. Click Products on the left menu
      3. Click Collections 
      4. Click ArchiPro
      5. Click 'x' next to any products you do not wish to sync

      When you remove a product from the ArchiPro collection, the status will update automatically on ArchiPro. If the product was Live on ArchiPro, it will be set as Not Live. If it was in Pending approval, it will be set to Draft.

      How to sync selective products from WooCommerce to ArchiPro using tags

      By default, all published products in WooCommerce will sync to ArchiPro.

      If you wish to sync certain products and not all, you may do so by using tags.

      Creating tags in WooCommerce

      Tags in WooCommerce allow you to group products together without creating a hierarchy. To create/edit product tags in WooCommerce, follow these steps:

      1. Sign in to WordPress
      2. Click Products from the left-hand menu
      3. Click Tags in the expanded left-hand menu
      4. Under Add new tag section, enter a Name for the tag
      5. Enter a Slug for the tag (or leave this blank for WooCommerce to generate it for you)
      6. Enter a Description for the tag (Optional)
      7. Click the Add new tag button

      Bulk add tags to products 

      To add tags to products on bulk in WooCommerce, follow these steps:

      1. Click Products from the left-hand menu.
      2. Click the Checkbox next to the relevant products.
      3. Click Bulk actions dropdown
      4. Select Edit, then Apply
      5. In the new section that appears, go to Product tags
      6. Enter the tag name (new or existing)
      7. Click Update

      Using tags for the ArchiPro integration

      Once you have created tags in WooCommerce, you can use these to sync selective products across to ArchiPro. 

      1. Go to your WooCommerce Integration in ArchiPro
      2. Select Sync settings
      3. Click the Sync by tag dropdown
      4. Click the Tag from WooCommerce you wish to sync
      5. Click Begin syncing
      6. All products with that tag will sync across to ArchiPro
