How does CSV match with existing products?

CSV Product Matching follows this hierarchy to find a match:

  1. Supplier Product ID from third-party system. When you import products from a third-party system, the products include a Supplier Product ID. This ID is stored in the ArchiPro system to ensure any future product imports will match.
  2. If you have created product listings in ArchiPro, they will not have a Supplier Product ID. When this is the case, ArchiPro will use the following steps to determine a match.
    1. Exact match on the Website URL for the Product
    2. Exact match on SKU (master variant and variants all have SKUs)
    3. Exact match on title

If none of the above are matched, the product is imported as a ‘new product’ with the status set to 'pending approval'.

If there is a match, the selected fields are updated, and the Supplier Product ID is set on the matching record so that future CSV imports will get the same match.

Fields not currently available for import from the CSV tool.

We are looking to implement these fields in the future. Until then, these will need to be added manually from the product editor.
