What are the requirements for a project to feature in the Project Directory?
This article explains the criteria your project needs to meet, in order to be considered for placement into the ArchiPro Project Directory.
The Project Directory is a list curated by ArchiPro of finished, architecturally designed projects. These are all also represented on your ArchiPro profile.
Each project page tells a clear, image-led story of the work - its spaces, materials, light, mood - and the key products/services behind it.
These enrich the story and give homeowners clear next steps to explore products and professionals.
It is important to note that ArchiPro reserves the right to make the final decision on whether a project is included in the directory. This ensures we can maintain the quality and integrity of the platform and deliver the best possible experience for our users.
The following is a list of the requirements that put you up for consideration;
- The project itself must be architecturally designed.
- Title: Use the project’s architectural name only - no company names, branding, or slogans. Keep it short to aid search, recognition, and editorial consistency.
- Images: Use magazine-quality, professionally shot photos in a 3:2 aspect ratio, showing interiors and exteriors. For best results across desktop, tablet, and mobile, upload files that are 72DPI, 1980px wide and whatever height. This ensures that images look sharp on all screens - including higher-end, high-resolution displays - without any extra work from you. We’ll handle all resizing and retina/thumbnail versions automatically. Smartphone or self-shot photos aren’t accepted; professional photography is required.
- Quantity & crediting: Upload at least 8 photos, and add photo credits to every image before submission (bulk apply is available): use the photographer’s ArchiPro profile where available; otherwise add a custom credit or your business profile.
- Image order & storytelling: Begin with an exterior establishing shot, then arrival/entry, then the primary spaces (kitchen, living, bedroom). Interleave close-ups that highlight craft, materials, light/shadow, colour, and signature details so it reads like a guided tour, not just room-by-room.
- Project plans: Include floor/site plans where helpful: add plan images at the end of the gallery, or upload multi-page PDFs to the project’s Downloads section. Plan images follow the same size guideline (3:2, high-res).
- Project description: 300–600 words that complement the photos. Cover the client brief and goals; site/context and constraints (location, budget, timeline); how these shaped the design and construction; and a few standout features/materials/products. Keep it engaging and skimmable - enough depth to reward readers while supporting search visibility.
- Uniqueness: One listing per project. If multiple professionals submit the same project, we prioritise the project hosted on the architect's profile but ensure that all applicable professionals are tagged in this project.
Optional but highly recommended
- Product tags: Add at least five to highlight key finishes/fixtures and aid discovery. (coming soon in the US)
- Professional Network: Add collaborators and contributors under the network section to link to their ArchiPro profiles.
