Optimising Your Profile

Products

Product Titles: Maintain consistency in naming conventions by following this format: Product Name, Product Type & Designer (if applicable) (e.g., The Luigi Pendant Light by Mario). A uniform approach creates a professional and cohesive look.

Product Descriptions: Clearly explain what your product is and how it works. Utilise relevant keywords to enhance searchability, including descriptive terms like “black chair” or “modern chair.”

See our article Writing a Good Product Description

Features, Scope of Use & Specifications: Enhance searchability by detailing key product features and specifications in a structured format.

Example: 100W x 300H x 45D ✅ , 100w 300h 45d ❌
Use clean and readable formatting to make technical details clear and user-friendly.

Custom Tabs: Organise information effectively using custom tabs, such as a dedicated 'Warranty' tab, to avoid clutter in product descriptions.

Pricing & Variants: Adding pricing details improves searchability, allowing users to filter products by price. Where possible, consolidate variations (e.g., different colours or sizes) under a single product listing rather than creating multiple pages.

Search Tags: Think like your customer. Use four generic and one specific tag per product. Avoid redundancy—there's no need to duplicate singular and plural versions of a keyword (e.g., green chair vs. green chairs).

Images: High-quality imagery increases engagement. Use in-situ images as the first visual, followed by clean background shots. Ensure images are properly zoomed in to avoid white borders. Avoid adding text to images—if necessary, place these images at the end of your carousel.

Projects

Supplier projects are not listed in the professional directory, but they still play a vital role in your profile's performance. More detailed project descriptions help improve engagement. Tagging products in projects ensures that your products appear in multiple places on the platform, increasing exposure.

Articles

Articles provide an excellent opportunity to share insights and highlight your products. Treat your article section as a blog that offers valuable information to potential customers. By addressing common problems and presenting your products as solutions, you can attract more organic traffic.

Enquire with your Client Director to work with ArchiPro's editorial team.
